About

Hello and welcome to Capable Cowgirl! I started this blog to inspire and empower other equestrians who are always striving to provide the absolute best care for their horses. I am very inquisitive by nature and am known for googling everything. I want the facts, especially when it relates to my horse's health and well-being. In the 20 years that I have been riding, I've found that there is always more to learn when it comes to horses. In this blog I'll share some of my favorite topics, as well as tack and product reviews, DIY projects, and an occasional fun journal entry about my trail adventures with my Mustang mare, Bindi. Even if you're an *average* horsewoman like me, you are absolutely capable of utilizing the resources around you to educate yourself and provide an amazing and healthy life for your horse. I hope that sharing a little bit of my horse journey will help you with yours.
